Ken Tutwiler
is the president of Cops Out Preaching Salvation (C.O.P.S.)
which was established around October of 2006. The other
board members include Leon Phillips, Randy Ryder and Brian
Dodson. They are all police officers for a local municipal
department.
This is a
non-profit Christian organization who focuses on ministering to
those incarcerated in prisons and jails. Officer Ken says,
God put it in his heart to start C.O.P.S. after he read Matthew
25:36 where Christ talked about visiting those in prison.
On June 11,
2007 they will be ministering at the Heman Stark Youth Authority
CYA in Chino.
